When plants have been dead for a long time, but not long enough or under enough pressure to become coal, they become peat. Sounds yucky? It kind of is, maybe that’s why the element wasn’t included in Little Alchemy 1.
Ingredients needed to make Peat
There are 4 ways to make peat in Little Alchemy 2, and unless you want to wait around near some grass, you’re going to be getting messy!

The quickest way to get to Peat
Peat sits at the end of the elemental life cycle. You use inanimate materials to create living things, those things become more complex and eventually die, giving you some soggy peat.

You can only unlock Time after creating 100 other elements first

There are no recipes for Time in Little Alchemy 2 – you just have to wait until you’ve created 100 other elements.
Pressure
Ah yes, apart from plant stuff and time, you’ll need plenty of pressure too, to compress the rotten mass into peat.

What can you make with Peat in Little Alchemy 2?
Peat isn’t super useful. I mean, how much can you really do with a lump of damp compressed dead bushes? All it’s good for is leaving around for longer to make Coal.
