The recipes needed to create Time in the Little Alchemy games, plus the other elements it unlocks
Can you ‘make’ Time? Unfortunately not in real Time, unless you get really efficient at everything you do. But you can in the Little Alchemy games, and here’s how.
Ingredients needed to make Time
Time is an unusual element. In Little Alchemy 1 there’s only one recipe for it:
Sand + Glass
But in Little Alchemy 2 there are no recipes; you just have to wait until you’ve discovered 100 other elements. Which is very clever, because that might take you a long… time!
The quickest way to get to Time
You can make time pretty quickly in LA1, with only 5 steps from the starting elements. As for LA2 – that will entirely depend on how quickly you can find those other 100 elements.

- Earth + Fire → Lava
- Air + Lava → Stone
- Stone + Air → Sand
- Fire + Sand → Glass
- Sand + Glass → Time

Time leads to an almost infinite plethora of astounding complexity. But it nearly always starts with a pool of chemicals and an energetic spark.
